The Schwartz's vs Cody's 5 Months Old

*  You wear a size 2 diaper and 3-6 month clothes.  Sometimes we'll put you in 6 months but those still seem to be pretty long and baggy on you.  You're just a little dude.
*  You are a huge fan of rice cereal!  You open wide and make nom nom noises.  If we're not fixing it fast enough you start to cry.  And if we're not moving fast enough you reach up and grab our arm hair (poor daddy) and bring our hand to your mouth faster.

*  You are consistently sleeping through the night from about 7:30 to 6:45.  Of course, we also turned the monitor off.  That seemed to help a lot!  (Sorry buddy when you're older and you read this.)
*  You make pteradactyl noises when you get excited.  It's adorable.
*  You've made friends with the monkey mirror in the car.  Y'all talk when we're driving places until you pass out.
*  You've pretty much mastered grabbing.  You practice mostly on hair.  My hair, daddy's arm and chest hair, sister's hair, even poor Sophie has fallen victim to your large opened handed grasps.  But with this now you also pointedly reach, aim, and grab for toys and other items that interest you.
*  You love to play peek-a-boo.  You think it's hilarious and laugh every time.
*  Your cradle cap is still a problem and seems to be making you miserable.  We'll catch you scratching your head on anything that has a texture.  Mostly you like to rub your head against daddy's scruff.
*  You moved into the high chair in the kitchen instead of sitting in the bumbo on the table.  You like it!  You seem to focus more on eating and you can't lean over to a side so you're sitting up better in it too.
*  You don't roll over.  Notice, I said you don't, not that you can't.  You rolled over both directions on different occasions about a month ago so we know that you can.  You just have no interest in doing it.  I don't think you've realized it is a mode of transportation so that's probably why you're not interested in it.  I'm sure by next month you'll be rolling all over the place.
*  You seem to enjoy tummy time as long as you get to play in the same room and with the same things as Sarah.  (But you also spit up every time you have tummy time.)
*  You really are the perfect addition to our family and we love watching you grow.
