The Schwartz's vs the Pony Ride

So this past weekend was a busy one!  We had an AWESOME auxiliary training done by Sis. Dibbs of the General YW presidency.  (Did you know that she was President Monson's daughter?)  Then Saturday we had Chris's company picnic (tons of fun) and Megan's wedding reception (good food and great people).  Then Sunday I woke up with the bubonic plague.  Today I look and feel like death warmed over.  I'd take a picture of what that looks like, but it's not pretty so I'll spare you.

So let's focus on the most exciting event from this weekend.  Sarah said, "Daddy,  I want to ride the pony" and since she has Chris wrapped around her little finger she got what she wanted.
She was a little unsure when the pony first started moving but she did a good job.  It was a little like the first time she played in a swing.  She didn't smile, but she didn't cry and the next time she loved it.  So maybe next year at the picnic she'll really love the pony ride.

And of course, what post could be complete without some reference to a bodily function?  So we put Sarah up on the pony to take a picture and the beast starts peeing!  I jumped away as far as I could get while still holding Sarah on safe so I didn't get horse pee splashed on my leg.  I think this picture says it all.
